Position Overview

Business Operations Coordinator – Keep Packwise Running Smoothly and Support Our Growth

As an Business Operations Coordinator at Packwise, you will play a central role in ensuring that our daily business runs seamlessly while supporting our leadership team in both strategic and operational tasks. Based in Houston, TX, you will take ownership across key areas such as finance, HR, logistics, and customer service, making sure our internal processes stay on track and our customers receive the highest level of support. This is a diverse and impactful role at the heart of our growing team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment tracking; act as liaison with our external accounting firm
  • Take responsibility for preparatory payroll tasks and HR administration (contracts, onboarding/offboarding, vacation and absence management)
  • Provide first-level customer service by answering calls, coordinating responses within the team, and communicating solutions back to customers
  • Support recruiting processes including job postings and candidate coordination
  • Coordinate logistics and warehouse management activities
  • Ensure smooth office management and internal operations, including event and trade show organization
  • Support the sales team with travel planning and expense reporting
  • Work closely with leadership on operational and strategic projects across departments

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS


  • Proven organizational talent with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks
  • Structured, proactive, and independent way of working
  • Experience in a comparable role, ideally with exposure to finance, HR, or operations
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to continuously improve processes
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; professional and confident communication style with customers and partners
  • Familiarity with business and finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Hubspot) is a plus
  • A team-oriented mindset combined with a hands-on, solution-driven approach

Additional Information

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

SCHEDULE:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
