Position Overview

Business Operations Intern – Learn, Contribute, and Grow with Packwise

As a Business Operations Intern at Packwise, you will support our daily business activities across finance, HR, logistics, and customer service. Based in Houston, TX, you will work closely with our leadership team and gain insights into how a fast-growing international company operates. This internship offers the opportunity to build practical skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and explore a potential career path in operations, business administration, or management.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment tracking, and support coordination with our external accounting firm
  • Support HR processes such as onboarding/offboarding, maintaining employee records, and helping with recruiting activities
  • Provide first-level customer support by answering calls and helping coordinate responses with the team
  • Help manage logistics and warehouse coordination tasks
  • Contribute to office management and internal operations, including event and trade show preparation
  • Support the sales team with travel planning and expense reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership on cross-departmental projects and day-to-day operations 

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • A proactive, structured, and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; professional and confident communication style
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, or Hubspot is a plus (but not required) 

Additional Information

JOB TYPE: Internship (Full-time during summer or part-time during semester, flexible scheduling possible)

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time (35–40 hours/week) during summer break, OR
• Part-time (10–20 hours/week) during the academic semester
• Duration: 10–12 weeks (summer) or by agreement during semester
